Christine A. Duell went to be with her Savior on Monday, September 14, 2020. Christine was born May 17, 1953, the daughter of the late Jerry and Ann Wagner Spetz. A lifelong area resident, Christine was a 1971 graduate of the Sheffield High School. She then studied at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and obtained her teaching degree. She then worked for the Warren County School District for thirty- five years, from which she retired. The Lord gave her 67 years of life filled with a passion to love and serve those around her. She spent many years investing in others as a dedicated wife, mother, grammy, sister, friend, and schoolteacher. She loved people! Most importantly, she loved Jesus Christ—her only hope for eternal salvation. Christine is survived by her husband, David L. Duell, whom she married on July 24, 1976; a daughter, Amanda Weir and her husband Mark, of Harmony Twp., PA ; a son, David Duell and his wife Valerie, of Valley City, Ohio; three sisters, Marsha Harris and husband Jim, of Warren, PA, Cheryl Bullock, of Sheffield, PA, and Lisa Overbeck and husband Harry, of Sheffield, PA; two brothers, Jerry Spetz of Erie, and Tom Spetz and wife Kate, of Warren; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed! Friends and family members will be welcomed at the Sheffield United Methodist Church 11 W Main Street, Sheffield, PA, on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 10AM to 12PM with a memorial service immediately following. Family and friends will be received for a light lunch at the same location after the memorial service.
