Christie Ann Billingslea Urig, 59, of Cherry Grove, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, September 12, 2014.  Christie was born August 8, 1955, the daughter of Thelma Rosabell McKisic Billingslea and the late Eugene Harris Billingslea.

After discovering a love for numbers, she had a satisfying career in the accounting field.  Her last job was working at WCCBI in Warren, PA.  Although it was very different than any previous jobs, she met many wonderful people and made lasting friendships.

She had a lifetime love of dachshunds, and leaves behind her dogs, Tessa and Tubby.

In addition to her mother, Thelma Billingslea, Christie is survived by her husband, Duane Urig, whom she married on September 8, 1972, after being divorced for over 20 years, they reunited much to everyone's surprise.  She is also survived by her daughter, Debra Urig (Jordan Martin), Cherry Grove, PA; two sons, David Urig (Wendy), Frisco, TX and Samuel McCaig, Cherry Grove, PA; three step-children, John Urig, Cherry Grove, PA, Jennifer Urig Smith (Ephraim) Cranberry Twp, PA and Sean Urig, Copperas Cove, TX; one sister, Sadie Billingslea (Kyle Zaffino), Warren, PA; and seven grandchildren.

Christie was buried in the Brown Cemetery, Crawford, WV.
