Cheryl Marie Nuhfer, 54, of 311 Lexington Ave., Warren, PA, died on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Warren General Hospital.
Cheryl was born May 31, 1958, in DuBois, PA., the daughter of George and Carol Ashenfelter Means of Warren. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1976 graduate of Warren Area High School. She attended Jamestown Community College, and worked for Means Sales and Service for twenty years.
Cheryl was a very creative person who enjoyed crafting and making her own greeting cards. She enjoyed her family and especially enjoyed her children and their accomplishments. Cheryl will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl is survived by her husband William D. Nuhfer, whom she married on July 21, 1984; two sons, Jason Nuhfer and his companion Mandy, Warren, and Jeffery Nuhfer at home; two sisters, Cindy Garrison and her husband Bob, Warren, and Robyn Means Smith and her fiance' Tim Edwards, Warren; two brothers Ken Means, and his wife Fran, Grand Prairie Tx., and Len Means and his fiancé Debbie Schmitt Warren; one grandson Channing Nuhfer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal and grandparents.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Friday, March 1, from, 6 to 8 p.m., and at the First Lutheran Church 109 East Third Ave. for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there on Saturday, March 2, at 11:00 am, with Rev. David Blank, pastor, First Lutheran Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Warren County Humane Society, 212 Elm St., Warren, PA 16365.
