Charlotte K. Eldridge, 97, of 310 Liberty Street, Warren, PA, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Warren Manor.
Charlotte was born November 29, 1916 in Indiana Boro, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Campbell) Kring.
She graduated from Indiana High School and then the Thomas Jefferson Hospital School of Nursing in 1938. She was employed as a registered nurse. She was employed at the Warren State Hospital, and later the Warren General Hospital for twenty- eight years, retiring in 1972. She served as the Director of Nursing for five years. She enjoyed crafts, reading, and cross stitching.
She is survived by two sons; James Eldridge and wife, Becky, of Warren, PA, William Eldridge and wife, Lynn, of West Poland, ME; six grandchildren, Lisa Eldridge McPherson and husband Mike of Warren, PA, John Eldridge, III, of Warren, PA, Jennifer Bourget and husband James of Delaware, OH, Leah Galipeau-Eldridge and husband Sean of Otisfield, ME, Amanda Blaschka and husband, Troy, of Gulf Shores, AL, and Jon Moats and wife, Tammy, of Elkton, MD; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on June 6, 2004, by her husband, John A. Eldridge Jr., whom she married on December 6, 1940; a daughter, Karen Moats; two brothers, James and Robert Kring, and sister, Leone Harris
A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date. Burial will be at the Warren County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 300 Market Street, Warren, PA 16365 or Charity of Choice.
