Charles "Chuck" T. Strandburg Sr., 90, of North Warren, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Chuck was born February 21, 1935, in Warren, the son of the late Leonard and Eleanor (Turner) Strandburg. He graduated from Warren High School and then served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was employed at the Times Observer and worked at Watt Office Supply part time. Chuck was an avid reader and a Pittsburgh Sports Fan. He was a member of the Marine Corps League. Chuck is survived by his three children, Charles T. Strandburg Jr. and wife Cindy of Warren, Douglas B. Strandburg of Warren, and Mark E. Strandburg and wife LouAnn of Clarion; three grandchildren, Michael Strandburg, Alyssa Strandburg, and Lacey McCasslin; great grandson, Blake McCasslin; brother, Quay Strandburg of Warren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death on May 29, 2015, by his wife, Bonnie Jean Amsler Strandburg, whom he married on July 16, 1955; four sisters, Betty Lou Duckett, Connie Sovich, Sue Ellen Nazario, and Phoebe (Kay) Marinoble; brother, Dennis Strandburg; and three infant brothers.
