Celeste Annette Gustafson, 65, of Warren, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Warren General Hospital. Celeste was born on April 24, 1957, in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of the late Livio L. Bertolini and Rosemarie Carr Bertolini, who survives. She was a 1975 graduate of Warren Area High School and then went on to graduate from Clarion State College for Elementary Education. She then received her Masters Degree of Education from Lock Haven University. She was an Elementary School Teacher for Warren County School District for 18 years from which she retired in 2019. Celeste enjoyed sharing her successful fishing stories with her students. Along with her husband, Celeste and Randall were foster parents in Chautauqua County, NY, for ten years. In addition to her mother, Celeste is survived by her husband of 41 years, Randall D. Gustafson, whom she married on August 8, 1981; three sons, Robert Gustafson and wife Cathryn of Bedford, MA, Steven Gustafson and wife Jayrn of Arlington, MA, and David Gustafson and wife Emily of Asheville, NC; grandson Owen Gustafson; brothers, Doug Bertolini and wife Donna of Arizona, Greg Bertolini and wife Jane of Warren, PA, Mark Bertolini of Jamestown, NY, Cameron Bertolini and wife Julie of Cary, NC, and Michael Bertolini and wife Beverly of Peachtree City, GA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Celeste is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Laura Gustafson; sister Missy Bertolini Zalewski; and brother Matthew Bertolini. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A private graveside committal will be held at the convenience of the family at Youngsville Cemetery.
