Cathryn S. Yeagle, 91, of Warren, PA,  died early on Tuesday, July 22, 2014,  at her  home in Pleasant Township.

Cathryn was born May 14, 1923 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late  Mr. & Mrs. Glenn  Smead.  She was a lifelong Warren resident, and a graduate of Warrren High School. Cathryn was a longtime member of the First Lutheran Church of Warren. Among the many things she enjoyed, she always enjoyed animals. She raised poodles for show and compaionship, fostered wild animals, and raised deer and elk with her late husband.  Cathryn was also an avid outdoors person.

She is survived by one son, George W. "Willie" Yeagle and his compaonion Barb, of Warren, PA; a daughter, Sally Yeagle, Warren, PA; a grandson, Shawn Yeagle, Warren, PA; and a great granddaughter, Leann Skinner, Bear Lake, PA

In addition to her parents, Cathryn was preceded in death on March 4, 2011 by her husband, George W. Yeagle, whom she married in 1940, and her sister, Edna Timmis.

Friends were at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Wednesday, July 23, from 6 to 8 pm. Calling was also be held on Thursday, July 24, for one our prior to a funeral service to be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am, with Rev. David Blank officiating, pastor, First Lutheran Church, officiating, with The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, assisting.

Pallbearers for burial in Warren County Memorial Park were John Stromdahl, David Wholeban, John Strycula, and Jim Cerra.
