Carolyn A. Grosch, 78, formerly of Weldbank, and a resident of the Rouse Suites, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the Rouse Home. Carolyn was born January 5, 1937, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of the late Naldo and Cecil (Campbell) Garber. She was a 1956 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed by the Blair Corporation as a filing clerk until becoming a full time mother. She was a member of Tiona United Methodist Church. Carolyn enjoyed knitting, playing cards, completing search and finds and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Russell G. Grosch, whom she married November 30, 1963, in Clarendon; one daughter, Debra Church, and husband, Todd, of Russell; and two sons, Darren Grosch, and wife, Sharon, of Glenside, and Gail Grosch, and wife, Jennifer, of Warren. She also has seven grandchildren, Ashley Church Crocker, Bradley Church, Jeremy Grosch, Natalie Grosch, Emily Grosch, Isabelle Grosch and Andrew Grosch; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lou Burns. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, December 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held there on Wednesday, December 30, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Martin Reynolds, pastor, Tiona United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Care Center, 2 Crescent Park W, Warren, PA 16365 or the Tiona United Methodist Church.
