Carol L. Westfall, 80, formerly of Russell, PA, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Green Hills Nursing Home, of West Liberty, Ohio.  Carol was born December 23, 1935, in Jamestown, NY. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth Osborne.  On February 23, 1957 she married Delbert Westfall, who survives.  Also surviving, her daughter, Diana Collins, and husband, Mark, of East Liberty, OH; sister, Evelyn Harvey, of Jamestown , NY; grandchildren, Ryan Collins, and wife, Laura, of Piqua, OH, and Nikki Collins, of West Liberty, OH.

Carol, a longtime resident of Russell, recently moved to Bellefontaine, Ohio.  She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1954, and was secretary for the District Justice for many years.  She was a member of the Russell United Methodist Church, active in the Thursday Circle, taught Sunday School and Bible School.  Carol was also a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed sewing, knitting, cross stitch, quilting, making crafts, reading and spending time with family.  For many years, she and Bert enjoyed hosting an annual winter picnic.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Friday, December 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and at the Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N Main St, Russell, on Saturday, December 10, from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time, a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Jerome Kennedy, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N. Main St., Russell , PA 16365.
