IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Ann
Hahn
November 11, 1946 – November 6, 2016
Carol Ann Tremblay Hahn, 69, of Hathaway Lane, Barnes, PA, passed away on November 6, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol was born in Warren, PA to the late Leo and Marie (Carlstrom) Tremblay on November 11, 1946. She went to Warren Area High School and graduated from the Seneca LPN School in Warren in 1989. She worked as an LPN at Beverly Health Care before retiring in 2009. She loved her job as a nurse and loved and cared about all her patients. She also was the owner and operator of Porcelain and Lace in Sheffield for six years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; she loved to craft, garden and spend time with her family.
Carol is survived by her children, James Hahn of Sheffield, Kelley (Dale) Saulsgiver of Warren, Cheryl (James) Lambert of Georgia, Wendy (Jeffery) Russ of Warren, Ann (Dennis) Mitchell of Clarendon, Betsy Lindsey of Sheffield, Mitzi (Luke) Whipple of Warren, Luke (Lauren) Lindsey of Zelienople, and Hank (Tauni) Lindsey of Sheffield. Two sisters, Bonnie Trawick of Warren, and Victoria Pangborn of Jamestown. 25 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her cat, Lily, who rarely left her side.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Popeye" Hahn, whom she married August 10, 1985, in Sheffield.
In accordance to Carol's wishes, a funeral service will not be observed, instead a memorial picnic will be held at the Starbrick Fire Hall, Sunday, November 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. It was her wish for us to be together and celebrate her life. As her son, Luke, put it: to celebrate "the dash…"
Memorials may be made to Sheffield VFW, Sheffield Fire Dept. or the Starbrick Fire Hall.
The family of Carol wishes to extend our sincere thanks to her doctors and nurses and Kane Hospital, Sheffield Ambulance, Starbrick Fire Hall, Peterson Blick Funeral Home and all the family and friends who have been there.
