Obituary

Bruce Harold Cockshott, 85, of Jamestown, NY, passed away on September 21, 2021, at his daughter's residence in Warren, PA. Bruce was born January 31, 1936, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Harry and Mildred Paul Cockshott. Bruce owned and operated the Jamestown Speed shop for years. Bruce loved traveling, fishing, and classic cars. He was one of the original members of Der Kobblers Car Club. He also served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He will be greatly missed by his family and those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Bruce also lived many years in Fort Myers, Florida where he has many loved ones. Bruce is survived by four daughters, Juli Nemeth and husband Mike of Virginia, Cindy Dupere and husband Alan of Georgia, Sue Williams and husband Ken of Warren, PA, and Brenda Holt of Franklin, PA; four brothers, Richard Randall of Arizona, Everett Cockshott of California, Eddie Cockshott of Jamestown, NY, and Ernie Cockshott of Gerry, NY; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services for Bruce will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family suggest memorial donations in Bruce's name be made to Hospice of Warren, One Main St, Warren, Pa 16365.
