Obituary

Bridget Michele Smith peacefully entered her heavenly home on February 6, 2021 at Hamot Hospital, Erie, PA. Bridget was born March 30, 1943 the daughter of Kathleen Kerr Smith and Paul E. Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers William Smith and Thomas Smith, and sister-in-law Marjory Smith.

Surviving are sisters Bonnalyn Smith, Ruth Watson and husband James with whom she shared a close bond, and sister-in-law Helen Smith, a very dear friend.

Other family members to whom she was devoted are James Wood, Deborah Canaan and her children Autumn Warner and her children, Jaylin and Hunter, James Ecker and wife Denise and their daughter Aislyn, Cynthia Snell, Jason Snell, Steve Smith and children Tyler and Chad, Kerry and Michael Walton and children Hayleigh Corkey and husband Joey, and Christopher Walton, Nancy and Bryant Beam and children Jessica and Michelle, James Watson, Paul and Cindy Smith, Bruce and Brenda Smith, Lisa and Tim Presta. She will also be remembered by her dear friends Andrea and Ray Grolemund, and Mary Anderson.

Bridget spent her early years in East Hickory, PA, later moving to Warren and graduating from Warren High School in 1961. She had been a resident of Sugar Grove for 44 years.

Bridget was employed as an administrative assistant in the sales department at GTE Corporation, later retiring from Blair Corporation. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Sugar Grove, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Order of the Amaranth where she served in the role of Matron.

Bridget was endowed with a caring and compassionate nature and a positive attitude that blessed her family and friends.

Arrangements are being made by the Peterson & Blick Funeral Home in Warren. Final resting place will be Warren County Memorial Park.

There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held with Pastor Patti Kuna of the First Presbyterian Church, Sugar Grove officiating.
