Bonnie J. Strandburg, 80, of North Warren, died Friday, May 29, 2015, at UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh, PA, after a month long battle with thyroid cancer.  Bonnie was born March 2, 1935, in Fryburg, PA. She was the daughter of the late V. L. and Wilda (Amsler) Beary.

Bonnie was a graduate of Farmington High School in Clarion County.  In earlier years, she was employed by Warren National Bank, where she met her husband, Charles.  She enjoyed reading, traveling, antiquing and collecting Puritan Pottery.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles T. Strandburg, Sr.; three sons, Mark E. Strandburg, and wife, LouAnn, Douglas B. Strandburg, and Charles T. Strandburg, Jr., and wife, Cindy, all of Warren, PA;  one brother, LeRoy "Butch" Beary, and wife, Janice, of Venus, PA; one sister, Velma Zock, and husband, James, of Warren, PA; three grandchildren, Michael Strandburg, Lacey Strandburg and Alyssa Strandburg; one great-grandson, Blake McCaslin; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her brother, Ora Beary, and sister, Yvonne Klapec.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Monday, June 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held there Tuesday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m.  The Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, First Lutheran Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park, Warren.
