Beverly Ann Ralston, 83, of Tidioute, PA, formerly of Sheffield, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the John Blair Hospice House of Warren, PA.
Beverly was born October 30, 1934 in Saybrook, PA, the daughter of the late Serrill and Hazel Spicer Grubbs. Beverly was a graduate of Sheffield High School and later in life attended classes at both Jamestown Community and Mercyhurst Colleges. She worked with the U.S. Forest Service for several years from which she retired. Beverly was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Warren, PA.
In her earlier years Beverly took joy in raising her family and homesteading. She always enjoyed nature and our forests. In her later life she enjoyed her gardening, local wildlife and bird watching. Through her life, her first concern was always for family - she will be deeply missed by all.
Beverly is survived by three daughters, Kate Reese and husband Bobby, of Tidioute, PA; Sue Saunders and husband Steve of Brookville, PA, and Wendy Gilbert and husband David of Woodland, CA; and one son, Dan Ralston and wife Kat of Youngsville, PA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews as well as one brother, Bruce Melquist of Sheffield, PA. Her loving pets Ginger, Vinnie and Sugar, also survive her.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 201 Pleasant Dr., Warren, PA, with Mike Tooley, a congregation elder, officiating.
