Betty Jane Reitz, 66, of Clarendon, PA., passed away on November 27. 2021, at UPMC Hamot, Erie, PA. Betty was the daughter of the late Frank and Betty Sturdevant. She was a lifelong area resident. Betty was a nurse's aide at the Warren Manor for 24 years from which she retired. She enjoyed golfing with her husband, walking at Betts Park, bowling, and working on jigsaw puzzles. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Betty is survived by her husband, Robert L. Reitz whom she married on September 7, 1974; two daughters, Amy (Patrick) Elmquist, of Ludlow, Amber Reitz and fiancé David Downey, of Clarendon; four sisters, Shirley (Curt) Knapp, of Clarendon, Clara (Steve) Lowry, of Clarendon, Laura (Nancy) Hultberg, of Youngsville, Trudy (Rick) Richmond, of Maine; four brothers, Donald (Debbie) Sturdevant, of Warren, Frank (Lynn) Sturdevant, of Warren, Randy (Tina) Rasmussen, of Ohio, and Larry Hultberg, of Washington, D.C.; five grandchildren, Jeremiah and Harry Lyon, Andrea, Jasmine and Danielle Brown; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father Paul Hultberg, and stepmother Twila Hultberg; a son, Robert Reitz Jr.; a niece, Candi Mathis; and a great-grandson, Dominic Fisher. The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 1, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna Ave, E., Warren. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Nancy Schwanke, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Barnes Cemetery.
