Betty A. Morine, 86, a lifelong area resident of Russell, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the Rouse Home, Youngsville, PA. Betty was born July 7, 1938, in Warren, the daughter of the late Orval A. and Frances J. (Martin) Kirby. She was a 1956 graduate of Northern Area High School and was a Psychiatric Aide at Warren State Hospital for 20 years from which she retired. She was a member of the Russell United Methodist Church. Betty enjoyed reading and her flower gardens. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. Betty is survived by her children, Mike A. Morine and wife Paula of Warren, Susan L. Morine and companion, Jeff Loverme, of Jamestown, and Scott "Scooter" A. Morine of Russell; sister, Nancy Crawford of Edinboro, PA; grandchildren, Nicole, Kelsie, and Jason Morine; three great grandchildren, Sydney, Gavin, and Holden; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death on January 3, 2005, by her husband, Harold A. "Skip" Morine, whom she married on July 26, 1958; son, David L. Morine, who passed on July 26, 2009; and an infant brother. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at which time a funeral service will be held there with Reverend Bill Beatty, pastor, Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.
