Bea Bathurst, 87, of Conewango Ave, Warren, PA, passed away peacefully following a brief battle with cancer on Sunday, July 13, 2014,  at the Warren Manor.

Bea was born June 18, 1927 in Ludlow, PA, the daughter of the late Morris L. and the late Sarah R. (Messler) Overbeck.  She was a Warren resident for many years, and was a member of the Cable Hollow Community Church. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, and grandmother, as family was foremost to her. She loved to help others,  and  ministered to many.

Bea is survived by two children, Gerald R. "Jay" Bathurst, Warren, and Barbara G. Meneo, Warren; five grandchildren, Adam J. Meneo (Laci) , Warren, Eric T. Meneo (Mandy), Warren, Amanda Meneo Ciganik ( John), Cranberry Twp., Kristen Martin, Denison, TX, and Bryan Raridan (Varsha), Niceville, FL; eight great grandchildren, two brothers, Harry Overbeck, Kane, PA, Morris Overbeck (Bobbie), AL; two sisters, Alice Cochran, Sheffield, and Shirley Fiero, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death on August 17, 1999,  by her husband, James  R. Bathurst, whom she married on May 4, 1946;  two brothers, Bill Overbeck, and Skip Overbeck; a sister, Betty Uplinger; and a daughter- in- law, Celia S. Bathurst.

Friends will be at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA., on Wednesday, July 16, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Allan Jones, pastor, Cable Hollow Community Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
