Obituary

Anthony "Kit" Nagurney Jr., 92, of Youngsville, PA, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, at his residence. Kit was born May 3, 1932, in Sheffield, PA, and lived most of his life in Warren County. He was the son of the late Anthony and Anastasia Lesko Nagurney. He served in the U.S. Navy and then the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. Kit was employed at the National Forge from which he retired in 1994. Kit was a member of the St. Francis Episcopal Church in Youngsville and was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Kit is survived by his wife, Norma Andersen Nagurney, whom he married on April 7, 1956, in Warren; daughter, Molly Lawson of Tidioute; five grandchildren, Gregory Jr., Emily, Andrew, Meghan, and Michael; six great grandchildren, Claire, Wyatt, Kaylynn, Kensie, Silas, and Bridger; daughter in law, Mary Munch Nagurney of Warren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kit was preceded in death by his son, Greg Nagurney; four brothers; and two sisters. A service for Kit will be announced at a later date.
