Anne H. Orton, 75, of Cherry Grove, and formerly of Erie, PA died on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Warren General Hospital.  Anne was born October 1, 1938, in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Robert Hodges and Catherine Bolger Hodges.

In her younger years, Anne and her husband were avid snowmobilers.  Anne also enjoyed her flower garden, her pet dogs and watching the deer and hummingbirds from her home.

She is survived by three sons, Charles Orton, Jr., and his companion, Debbie, of Erie, PA, Bill Orton, and his wife, Samantha, of Corry, PA, and Bob Orton, and his wife, Ruth, of Cambridge Springs, PA; two daughters, Peggy Warnaka, and husband, Mark, of Bellefonte, PA, and Jeanne Young, and husband, Rick, of KY; two sisters, Joan Niebauer, of Erie, PA and Barb Taratino, of West Palm Beach, FL; one brother, Robert Hodges, of Erie, PA; four granddaughters, Cynthia Price, and her husband, Corry, Christina Orton, Nikki Orton, and Rachel Warnaka, and her fiancé, Ray; four grandsons, Charles Orton, and his fiancé, Elaina, James Orton, and his wife, Brittany, David Warnaka and Joseph Johnson, Jr., and his wife, Miwah; three great-grandchildren, Caiden, Joey and Lilly; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death on July 11, 2009, by her husband, Charles, E. Orton, Sr., whom she married on June 13, 1959; and her sister, Carol King.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Thursday, March 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. No public services will be observed.

Private burial will be at the Cherry Grove Cemetery, Sheffield.
