Anna Jane Ward, 80, of Warren, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 21, 2017.  Anna was born April 21, 1937, in Cherry Grove, PA. She is the daughter of the late Earl and Ariel (Sage) McCulla.

Anna held several positions with local businesses throughout her career.  For many years, she worked at GTE Sylvania as an inspector, and later with the New Process Company.  She enjoyed gardening and flowers, Bingo, and playing canasta with her family.

She is survived by five children, Susan Sibenik, and husband, Paul, of Ohio, Steven Streich, and wife, Michele, of Clarendon, Kimberly Woodin, and husband, Larry, of Sugar Grove, Randi Webb, and husband, Ricky, of West Virginia, and Laurence Nelson, and husband, Dennis, of Scranton;  three sisters, Gwenda Cole, of Clarendon, Wilma Geer, of Jamestown, NY, and Ruth Virley, of Michigan; two brothers, William McCulla, of Clarendon, and Robert McCulla, of Clarendon; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Ward; three siblings, Doris Ferry, Charles McCulla, and Ethel Gregerson; an infant sibling, Milon McCulla; and great-grandchild, Silas.

Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Saturday, December 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Dorothy Hilliard, Hospice Chaplain, officiating.  Burial will follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
