Almon R. Shene, 72, of Clarendon, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, PA. Almon was born on April 12, 1950, in St. Johnsbury, VT, the son of the late Floyd and Sarah (Saunders) Shene. Almon was a 1968 graduate of Warren High School and worked for 42 years for the City of Warren in many capacities. He was a member of the Struthers Hose Co., Eagles Club, and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing league golf at the Jackson Valley Country Club. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Almon is survived by his wife, Sandra P.(Campman) Shene, whom he married on June 6, 1970, in Warren; two sons, Mark W. Shene and his wife Missy of Clarendon, PA, and Pat R. Shene and his wife Andrea of Warren, PA; five grandchildren, Marylin, Colin, Parker, Brady, and Aaron Shene; siblings, Bill Shene and wife Sandy of Citra, FL, Irving Mussen and wife MaryAnn of Pittsburgh, PA, and Roxanne McCollough of Warren, PA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Almon is preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Donaldson, Gene Mussen, and Jim Shene. Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna Ave. E. Warren, PA, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 11:00am, with the Reverend Bill Beaty, pastor, Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.
