Alice E. "Betty" McCracken, 80, of Six Mile Road, Tiona, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013.
Betty was born March 20, 1933, in Reynoldsville, PA, the daughter of the late Delbert and Martha Weaver Marshall. She was a 1951 graduate of Reynoldsville High School, and was employed as a United States Postal Officer and a Teacher's Aid. A homemaker, and loving wife and mother of six children, Betty loved to cook, bake and sew Grammie's Jammies for the grandchildren at Christmas. She was also a past PTA President, who enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, gardening, bird watching, and collecting Precious Moments Figurines. Betty was very committed to her family, her friends, and her faith. She was a member and past Sunday school teacher of the former First Baptist Church, which later merged to become the Pleasant Community Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Smith and her husband Chuck, Sheffield, PA, Lori Stom, Bethlehem, PA, and Cathy Weidner and her husband Kevin, Hummelstown, PA; three sons, Don McCracken, Tiona, PA., Craig McCracken and his wife Denise, Farmington, NM, and Keith McCracken and his wife Melissa, Homer City, PA; one sister, Carol Smith, DuBois, PA; three brothers, Norman "Son" Marshall, WA, Paul Marshall, and wife, Jeanne, CA, and James Marshall, DE; twenty three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on March 9, 2010 by her husband, Jack J. McCracken, whom she married April 26, 1953; and three brothers, Dale Weaver, Joseph Marshall and Jerry Marshall.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m., and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held at Pleasant Community Church, 673 Pleasant Drive, Warren on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Poindexter, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Riggs Cemetery, Richardsville, PA.

Rouse Home, 701 Rouse Avenue, Youngsville, PA 16371.
