Adah McIntosh Sidon, 101, formerly of River Road and Yankee Bush, Warren, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at the Rouse Home.  Mrs. Sidon was born November 12, 1913, in Sugar Grove, PA. She was the daughter of the late George Raymond and Belle (Warner) McIntosh.

Mrs. Sidon was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church where she was involved with the Truth Seekers Class, United Methodist Women, and the McCurdy Circle.  For many years, she was a Girl Scout leader.  She had also volunteered for many years as one of the "Gray Ladies" at Warren General Hospital and the Red Cross.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Berdine, and husband, John, and Kay Buerkle; and one son, Dennis Sidon, and wife, Sue, all of Warren; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on November 10, 1994, by her husband, Albert Karl Sidon, whom she married June 14, 1935, at Grace United Methodist Church.  Also preceded by one sister, Ethel Weston; two brothers, Norman and Keith McIntosh; and one son-in-law, Dennis Buerkle.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Sunday, February 22, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Marcus Briggs, chaplain, Rouse Home and Warren General Hospital, officiating.  Burial will follow at Warren County Memorial Park.
