A. Vaughn Seigworth, 81, formerly of Moon Township, died Friday, February 3, 2017, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehab, of Warren, PA.  Vaughn was born June 17, 1935, in Knox, PA. He is the son of the late Arnold Benedict and Mary Gladys (Best) Seigworth.

Vaughn was a long time member of Crescent Volunteer Fire Department, and was a retired Pennsylvania State Fire Instructor at the Allegheny Co Fire Academy. He was the the Rec Secretary of the Allegheny Co Volunteer Fire Fighters Association, the County Chiefs Association, the Pa State Advisory board, Allegheny Co Advisory Board, Pa Emergency Management Agency, Allegheny Co Old Timers Association and PA Fire Emergency Services Institute.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Bartlett Seigworth, currently of Warren, PA; one sister, Sarah R. Seigworth; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Vaughn was preceded in death by his brother, Darwin J. Seigworth, and sister, Donna G. Reitz.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
