A.Eugene “Gene” Moore, 91, of Clarendon, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Warren General Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born on September 9, 1935, in Reynoldsville, PA, to the late Arthur and Clara Moore.
He married his wife Donna on January 26,1957; they shared just short of 70 years together.
After growing up in Hormtown, Pennsylvania, and graduating from Dubois High School in 1953, Gene began a 42-year career as a machinist with Sylvania. A job transfer brought him to Warren County, where he and Donna spent most of their lives raising their family in Clarendon Heights. Deeply devoted to his loved ones, Gene was also an active member of Pleasant Community Church.
Gene is survived by his wife, daughter-in-law, Patricia Moore and her family, his son, Roger Moore and his family, and son, Brad Moore and his family; including 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his son, Donald Moore, his sister, Shirley Dickey, and an infant sister.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave E, Warren, PA, 16365. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, September 25, from 10am-12pm, with a funeral service to follow visitation starting at 12pm, with Rev. James Swanson officiating. The funeral service will be live-streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page.
Interment will take place at Warren County Memorial Park.
