Nancy was born on April 13, 1931, in Warren, Pa., the daughter of Bert and Margaret Larson. Nancy worked for three years at Sylvania Electric, fourteen years at Whirley Industries and in her retirement, she dedicated herself to volunteering as a LOGOS teacher in the Christian Education program at the First United Methodist Church of Warren. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Genevieve “Kitty” McKown; a brother, Nels Larson. She is survived by her children; Trudy Himes of Fort Wayne, Indiana., Dean Wilson of Deerfield, Ohio., Judy Johnson of Sheffield, PA., and Dane Wilson of Zephyrhills, FL.; She was the grandmother to nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. All of whom experienced the love and generosity of “Grandma Nancy”. Her 90 years are characterized by a life of simplicity and a spirit of gentleness, compassion and generosity to her family, friends, and to her church. The family would like to thank her many caregivers for their compassion and support over these past months. Darlings Home Health Care, Warren Cancer Center, Warren Manor and Hospice of Warren County. It was a true honor and privlege to provide love and care to your mom at the Warren Manor. It was equally an honor and privlege to cross paths with each of you at a difficult time. You each were wonderful health care advocates for your mother. She was a true sweetheart to care for, and no doubt a true angel that will now watch over each of you and yours. Please know I will continue to have each of you in my thoughts and prayers.
