She was proud to say she was a graduate of the Warren High School in 1956. Susan married the love of her life Russell L. Gregerson on October 13, 1962, who preceded her in death on July 2, 2014. She was employed at the New Process Company for six years. Susan was one of a group of the first female firefighters at Cherry Grove VFD, and a home room mother for all of her five children. Susan was a faithful dedicated member of the Cherry Grove Community Church. Susan enjoyed attending church every week with her granddaughter Chyann. Susan is survived by her children, Molly Gregerson, Jenny (Scott) Rose and Steve (Carol) Gregerson all of Cherry Grove, Pa. one brother, Paul (Shirley) Gebhart of El Sobrante, CA., a brother-in-law, Norm Shaffer of Lander, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Steven, Nicole, Austin, Emma, and Abby Gregerson, Shalyn (David) Johnson and Chyann Rose.; one great-granddaughter, Avalynn Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband; and two sons, Marvin in 1987 and Todd Gregerson in 2020; two sisters, Elsie Chapel, Edith Johnson; and a brother, Russell Mike Gebhart. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Tuesday, August 31, from 6 until 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral Home on Wednesday, September 1, at 11 am, with Rev. Ed Irwin, pastor, Cherry Grove Community Church, officiating. So sorry for the loss of Aunt Susie. Our family always enjoyed her visiting at our parents house. My mom, Elsie Chapel, and her had a special bond. She was always so kind and had a sweet smile for everyone. She will truly be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

Aunt Susie was the most gentle happy lady ever. A devoted wife & best friend to Uncle Russ who cared deeply for her children & grandchildren. I will miss our occasional meetings but hold fast to the memories. She is dancing in the Gregerson circle with Russ, Marvin & Todd. Much love & many prayers for the family left on Gregerson Rd in Cherry Grove PA.

There are so many lives that were touched and made better not only by Susan but all the family and I share your sorrow. All the family and friends, you’re in my thoughts and prayers. Wish I could be there in person to share this and a few hugs. No doubt good stories as well puke have been told.

Love, Russ
