The Elk Township Historical Society sends their condolences to John and to their children on the passing of Lois, who was a major contributor to life in Elk Township and to the quality of its schools. John and Lois were enthusiastic supporters of Elk institutions, especially the church and the school, who were the better for having had them as members. Their substantial agricultural endeavors supported the Township's economic status. Lois, you are gone, but not forgotten at the historical society.

To the Nordin Family,
I have great memories of Lois as our First United Methodist Church secretary and my career as Warren Cooperative Extension educator. She always was able to put me in touch with persons in our county that helped me in my career. As the church secretary she was gracious, dependable and a faithful follower. The Nordin home door was always open for me. My thoughts of sympathy for the Nordin family.

So sorry to hear about Lois. She was a special part of our lives at Russell Church
for many years. Cannot make the service, due to other commitments.
