Kay M. Buerkle, 79, of Warren, PA, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2021, surrounded by her family. Kay was born April 9, 1942, in Warren, the daughter of the late Albert K. and Adah McIntosh Sidon. Kay was a lifelong resident of Starbrick, and a graduate of the Warren High School. She was employed with Thomas Coupling – Rexnord for a number of years and later worked at the Blair Corp., from which she retired. She was a member of the Starbrick Community Church. Kay will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend to many. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren and all of their activities. She is survived by two children, Jodi Gozzard and her husband Daniel of Allison Park, PA, and Scott Buerkle and his wife Jean of Warren; four grandchildren, Zakary Buerkle, Abbie Buerkle, Tyler Gozzard, and Katie Gozzard; a sister, Nancy Berdine and husband John of Warren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death on March 3, 2014 by her husband, Dennis A. Buerkle, whom she married on July 17, 1965; and a brother, Dennis Sidon. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 10 am until 12 noon, at which time a memorial service will be held at the funeral home, with Peggy Teconchuk, officiating. Kay’s family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, One Main Ave., Warren, PA 16365

May God's Love embrace you at this time of great lose and I pray you seek his comfort in the days to come. I understand the pain of your lose and I am always here if you need to talk, my door is always open. Not only do you have a friend in Jesus but always a friend in me as well. I always enjoyed your Mother/Grandmother, she ways always a joy to talk with, she had such a kind and pleasant heart. With constant Love and Prays for the whole Buerkle family.

As you mourn the loss of a very special lady, may you find strength in all of your wonderful memories together. She will never be far from your heart. Having gone to high school with Kay, I too have wonderful memories of out times together. Sending hugs and prayers to the whole Buerkle Family.
