Dear all: I am on staff at the Smithsonian with the Office of Visitor Services where Diana volunteered for literally decades.

I will always remember Diana as a sweet soft-spoken kind woman who was never anything but gracious to our staff, her fellow volunteers, and most importantly the thousands and thousands of visitors she served over the years.

I always enjoyed the time I spent with Diana and was very saddened to hear of her passing. I have passed the news along to other colleagues who would want to know.

I wish all of Diana's friends and family my deepest condolences. Please do not hesitate to stop by the Castle and say hello anytime (once we have reopened of course). It would be a pleasure to meet you.

Best wishes,

Michael Rubin
