In 1971 I had the pleasure of first meeting Herk and his family. Herk never failed to light up the room with his smiles and laughter. He along with his life partner Evelyn were a model couple to look up to and admire. And from their union created and raised a beautiful family. RIP Herk, you will definitely be missed by those who were fortunate enough to know you. My thoughts and prayers to his dear family.
