Debra L. Malone, 65, of Warren, PA, died Friday October 30, 2020 at the Warren Manor following a brave battle with cancer. Debra was born July 3, 1955, in Warren, PA, the daughter to the late Charles Edgar Malone and Bessie Lee Nugent Malone. A lifelong resident of Warren, she graduated from Warren Area High School in 1973, and attended the Pittsburgh Art institute for graphic design and nursing. She worked at Blair and then devoted her time to Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. Debra also devoted her free time to her pets, which were her heart and soul, Darby, her Border Collie and Gillian, her Boston Terrier. Also, Debra had a passion for art, the outdoors and wildlife. She was known for her quick wit, her infectious smile and her kind and compassionate spirt. In addition to her parents Debra was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Debra is survived by her cousins Jeffery W. Nugent, of Warren; Jeffery K. Nugent of Illinois; Scott Nugent and his wife Brenda of Russell; Lorie Ruzich and her husband Raymond of Warren; and Lisa Jeffries of Ohio. Friends will be received at the Peterson – Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn Ave E. Warren, PA on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at which time a funeral service will be held, with Rev. Dorothy Hilliard, officiating. Due to Covid restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA. Was in school with Debra for 6 years since 7th grade and graduated with her in 1973. May she rest in peace

Mrs Deb was the best resident and the strongest woman I have ever met. May she rest in peace.
