Floyd James Thomas, “Squeak”, 64, of Clarendon, passed away from complications of COPD on Wednesday, April 10, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his family. Floyd was born on March 26, 1956, to the late Burdette (“Pete”) and Louisa (Jennings) Thomas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time outdoors. He loved his family and they came first in his life. They will all miss him dearly. Floyd is survived by his children, Misti, Jeremy and Wyatt Thomas; his wife, Lola Thomas; his grandson,Michael Thomas; one brother Allan; several nieces and nephews; cousins; and his friend, Elizabeth Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two infant daughters and four brothers William,Samuel, Burdette Jr. (“Bud”), and Richard, and a sister Sandra. A memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Floyd passing away. He was a dear friend all through school. When we were in 7th grade together he took me on my first date and was the most sweetest guy you could ever meet, a perfect gentleman!! RIP Floyd Thomas!!

Just saw the posts on FB I’d Floyd’s passing. Remember him from all the way back in grade school & his pal Lyle Atkins. Prayers to the family especially in times like this. 😔🙏🏻
