Berdean E. Thomas, aka “Dean” or “Pap”, 84, of Stoneham, PA., entered in to heaven on Friday, July 27, 2018. Dean was born April 7,1934 in Lovejoy, PA. to the late Walter and Viola Thomas. Dean is survived by one brother, Jerry Thomas (Donna), of Stoneham; three children, Debbie Bauer, of Stoneham, Darlene Meadows (Bill), of Cherry Grove, and Randy Thomas (Carol), of Sheffield; four grandchildren, Tracy Bailey (Ron), of Clarendon, Hollie Constable (Marc Lytle), of Warren, Chad Gage (Erin) of Anchorage, AK, and Stephanie Sutton (Clint) of Virginia Beach, VA; six great-grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Alix, Wyatt, Taylor and Cheyenne; his unofficial adopted son, Gary Johnson (Lisa) of Stoneham; and several nieces and nephews will also miss him dearly. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann Thomas; grandson, Andrew Gage; great-granddaughter, Savannah Sutton; and son-in-law, Ed “Butch” Wingard. Dean loved his family, traveling, hunting, fishing, wood working, and camping. He truly enjoyed life and was always good natured. He was a lifetime employee of McMillen Lumber Company. Friends and family will be received from 6-8 PM on Thursday August 2, 2018 at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday August 3, 2018 at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Pennsylvania Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365 with Rev. Marty and Rev. Jan Reynolds, co-officiating. Burial will follow at Warren County Memorial Park. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave. Warren, PA 16365.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have many memories of Pap from his rubber band guns to the little chairs he made. He will be greatly missed. Thinking of you Tracy Holly and families.

Darlene, Bill,Randy, Carol, Debbie,Tracy and Family. Uncle Dean was a special man. Gary always looked forward to coming down and staying when he was young, they are some of his favorite childhood memories.He enjoyed our rides to go see the Elk with Uncle Dean & Aunt May. Sorry for your loss. R.I.P.
