She was employed by Clarion Glass Plant, G.E. in Erie, and the Warren County School District.  Ultimately, she retired from Warren State Hospital after 39 years, working in various positions—her favorites were in Physical Therapy alongside Andrew Yurick and the Sheltered Workshop.

She was a member of the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church for over sixty years.  Maxine and her family were extremely gifted in music, performing in street dances and various venues.

A very generous and friendly woman, Maxine loved her family and visiting with people.

She is survived by four children, Kathy Stewart, of Youngsville, Albert Miller, of Warren, Carla DeVincolis, of Clarksville, TN, and Annette McCulla, of Warren; two siblings, Emogene Slabe, of Clarion and Delbert Beichner, and wife, Ellie, of York; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death on June 16, 1997, by her husband, Rolland W. Miller, whom she married September 14, 1951, in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church of Warren; and four siblings, Esther Gourley, Austin C. Beichner, Joseph G. Beichner, and Edwin Beichner.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Friday, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 19, at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, with Fr. James Gutting, officiating.  Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Clarion, PA.

Uncle Delb and Aunt "Chook";
Words can't express how sorry we are for the loss of Aunt Max.
I was just thinking of her yesterday while looking at pictures of all of us at the reunions,...seeing how dad (RIP) was so happy.
Now, Aunt Max is with dad, Esther, Grandpa, Grandma....The List goes on and on.

Her body may have eternally rested,...but Aunt Max....will be here forever in Heart, Mind, and Spirit.

We Love You All.

Jamie, Judie, (And the kids) Beichner

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too have felt the pain of losing some of those I love in death. I hope you are being surrounded by loving family and friends and taking care of yourself during this difficult time. The God of all comfort provides hope for those who have passed away and comfort for those who have survived. We are promised that our loved ones will return to us one day very soon. As Jesus resurrected his friend, Lazarus, and many others, you will see your loved one again. (John 5:28, 29) How the True God longs to do that! (Job 14:14, 15). Until then, may we continue to keep their memory warm in our hearts until we see them happy and healthy again one day very soon. Prayers and thoughts are with you . . .
