It was with great sadness that I learned of Christie's passing. We both shared a journey with kidney cancer. I have many wonderful memories of our online conversations and the way she could make me laugh even when I was melting into a pool of tears. Christie fought a good fight and left an inspiring legacy for all of us who walk this cancer road. I will always cherish her friendship. My prayers are with the family and many friends she made along the way. To her family: I am so very sorry for your loss. May God bring you comfort and peace during this time.

Thelma I cannot believe I have located you after all these years in this saddest of times in your life. I am still in Michigan and pass the old State Farm offices from time to time? I do hope this reaches you via the Funeral Home. Having had my own experience married to an owner/director and living/working in one, I know such things are possible.
