Rae Marie Fox Parmeter, 52, of Warren, PA, passed away peacefully Monday, March 4, 2024, at her residence after years of battling chronic illnesses. Rae was born September, 28, 1971, in Warren, the daughter of Alan B. and Jeri L. Applebee Fox, who survives. Rae was a lover of learning with a passion for history. She was a graduate of Warren County Christian School, earned an Associate’s Degrees in History and Social Work from JCC, and an Bachelor’s degree in History from Eastern Nazarene College. Before her illness, Rae spent time in Thailand with YWAM sharing the Love of Christ with others. During college, was employed at Cable Hollow Golf Course, and spent time as a groundskeeper and curator at Adam’s National Historic Park in Quincy, MA Rae was a member of the Warren First Church of the Nazarene, an EMT for Clarendon Fire Department. She deeply loved her grandmothers, Marie and Rachel, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved sports, including spending time coaching, umping, reffing, and playing soccer, softball, and basketball. In her younger years, she loved riding on the back of her mother’s motorcycle. Rae was a proud Army Wife and mother and has friends all around the world. In addition to her parents, Rae is survived by her husband, Retired SSG, US Army Aaron A. Parmeter, whom she married on December 30, 1995; two children, Sarah M. Parmeter of Clarendon, and Alan T.F. Parmeter, at school in Quincy, MA, she will also be remembered by her lifelong best friend and “adopted sister” Rebecca Downey, “adopted nephews” Erik and Jacob Sorenson, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Penna Ave. E., Warren, PA, on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at which time a memorial service will be held with Reverend Bill Beatty, pastor, officiating.
