Sandra Lou Lyle, age 63, of Scandia, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, December 22, 2017.  Sandy was born May 24, 1954, in Jamestown, NY. She was the daughter of Fredrick Hopkins and Carol Swanson Brunecz. 

Sandy was a 1972 graduate of Jamestown High School; she then attended nursing school at JCC.  For 36 years, she was employed at Warren General Hospital Homecare Services working in the Warren and Tidioute area.  She enjoyed watching birds and wildlife from her home, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, James A. Lyle, whom she married October 10, 1981, in Warren; son—Jeremy Siliano, significant other, Natasha Kraemer, of Warren, and their children, Skyla Urig, Joseph Siliano, Larisa Urig, Graice Siliano, Molly Siliano and Joseph Kraemer; daughter—Stephanie Lindell, husband, Ryan, also of Warren, and their children, Chase and Leah Lindell; one sister—Susan Bibb Carlson, of Denver, CO; three step-siblings—Vicki Blackmer, Nicholas Brunecz, and Jimmy Brunecz; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her step-father, Louis Brunecz; and step-sister, Judy Hottel.

Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penn. Ave. E., Warren, on Tuesday, December 26, from 5 to 7 p.m., and on Wednesday, December 27, for one hour prior to a service to be held there at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jeffrey Ewing, pastor, First Lutheran Church, officiating.

Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution should consider Paws Along the River, 212 Elm Street, Warren, PA 16365; or Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Avenue, Warren, PA 16365.

I would like to express my sympathy for the family. The "God of All Comfort" is there for you and knows your pain. He promise at "John 5:28 & 29" there will be a resurrection. "Joshua 1:8 tells us we must read the Bible in an undertone" this will help us in our trying times.
