Karen Natale Jones, 63, of Kibler Drive, Girard, PA, and formerly of Warren, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Karen was born March 2, 1949, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Betty Gibson Meadows. She was a 1967 graduate of Warren High School. She primarily worked in management in various businesses in the Warren Area, including CVS, Dollar General and most recently Kwik Fill-United Refining, from which she retired. She was a former member of the Tiona United Methodist Church, and also enjoyed her membership at the Eagles Club, Moose Club and the American Legion. Karen will be most remembered for loving the spice of life--she especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing and music. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Evan Jones, whom she married on February 11, 2012 in Girard, PA; one daughter, Laurie Wenzel, Warren, PA, and her children, Darren & Nicole Wenzel; two sons, Rick Kifer, his companion, Sheri Berdine, Clarendon, PA, and their children, Bethany Kifer, Jackie Kifer, Tony Berdine, Rachael Berdine & Travis Peterson, Scott Kifer, his companion, Jennifer Hice, Warren, PA, and their children, Ella Kifer & Michael Marcovich; she is also survived by Jeffrey’s children, Corey Jones and Shannon Jones, and Jeffrey’s parents’, James Jones & June Jones; two brothers, William A. Meadows, and wife, Darlene, Sheffield, PA, and Robert A. Meadows, Tiona, PA; three sisters, Bonnie L. Florcosky, Cleveland, OH, Candy S. Fox, and husband, Howard, Warren, PA, and Nancy R. Mealy, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her by first husband, Richard C. Kifer, on December 9, 1982, and by her second husband, Michael J. Natale on July 9, 2004; and her brother, Clinton "Bud" Meadows.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Friday, January 11, from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. A private funeral service will be held for the family.
Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Karen was a wonderful lady, and I will always be grateful for her strength and caring for my father Mike when he was ill during the last stages of his life. She was his angel. May she now rest in peace. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

To all of Karens extended families. My sincere condolences to all of you.
There were many family kids in Tiona who grew up together and spent time together, either at play, school, or church.
Karen was a special person. When she and her daughter showed up at my fathers' viewing in '84, it meant alot to my mother, more than Karen knew.
Karen is in a better place, but left too soon, with alot to see and do.

I am so sorry to learn of Karen's passing. She and I have known each other for a long time. We buddied after my husband died in 2004. I have thought of her most recently and wondered how she is. Now, I know. My prayers are with all of you. I am glad that she was happy in recent times.

I was so sorry to hear of Karen's death...and shocked. I have wondered about her from time-to-time: she was a friend of mine in high school....and sadly, we lost touch. It seems she did not change much through the years, though! She was always thoughtful, sweet, fun and a good friend. God comfort all of you.

I am so sorry for your loss! Karen was a very kind and giving person. She was also a very strong woman who took care of my father (Mike Natale) during his bout and eventual passing with cancer. She made him very happy. She will be missed.

I'm so terribly sad to hear of the passing of Karen, I'm in shock.......I have known her for several years and she was an awesome , lovely, caring friend!!!! I will miss her so very much!!!!!!!
