Dear Jerry and Donna Wadsworth,
It was so shocking to read of the death of your grandfather, Jerry. When you were my 3rd grade students he and your grandmother were very devoted and involved in assuring you got a good education. He was always ready to have a conversation about your latest accomplishments when I would meet him on the streets of Warren. As a City Councilperson, I saw how committed he was to the Fire Department and the safety of Warren citizens. There was always a smile on his face to cheer my day when we met. Please remember the fond and funny times you shared. He has given us all a great model by which to live.

Jerry was a mentor for me and many of the fire fighters who were hired in the 1990's. i'll allways remember the times we had laughing, and playing F&C in the station. and the good advice he gave that is still passed on to the "new" guys.

Dear Donna, Saddened to hear of Jerry's passing away. Wasn't that long ago we were out with you and him at the Eagles Club. He had a lot of courage and put up a good fight against his cancer. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rodger will miss his emails as will I. Great memories of our times together. You, Dan, Kim, Justin, and Jen are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Elaine and Rodger.
